9:14 pm - The Kirbi — Garage for a Comet, 2012 (EP)

thekirbi

Artist: The Kirbi
Title: Garage for a Comet
Label: Mahorka
Released: 2012.03.25
Cat Number: mhrk078
Tracks: 4
Time: 00:20:53
Format: mp3 320 Kbps
Genre: Ambient, new age, downtempo, idm, electronic
Country: Bulgaria
Link: Download

12:37 pm - Image And Nation - Winter Orchids

revglenn

Artist: Image And Nation
Title: Winter Orchids
Date: 11-20-09
Keywords/genres: new age, electronica, female classical vocals, ambience, classical, neo-classical, winter, spiritual, meditative, experamental
Price: name-your-own-price (including free)
format choices: MP3 (vbr high, vbr low, 320kbs), AAC (high or low), OGG Vorbits, FLAC, Apple Lossless

Winter Orchids is a special winter album that will only be available until the end of December. The album consists of 6 tracks that revolve around the themes of winter.

Included with the album is a "virtual booklet" similar to the booklet insert that comes with most CDs as well as printable album art.

Winter Orchids is available in a wide variety of audio formats including MP3, FLAC, Apple lossless, etc.

All proceeds (after PayPal's transaction fee) go to Child's Play Charity, a wonderful, low overhead organization that runs toy-drives for children's hospitals.

Although you may choose to download Winter Orchids for free if you wish, we strongly encourage you to purchase the album, as the money will be going not to record labels or even ourselves, but a very, very good cause.

As an added bonus and "thank you" for helping us to help children in need, the 5 people who choose to pay the most for the album will receive special edition CDs of the album. Each special edition will be hand burned and stamped by Image And Nation. Each will come in a one of a kind case hand painted by Kelly Smith (the album artist). Each album will be signed and numbered by Glenn Grubbs and Christa Durand.
If you pay a particularly high amount we may try to throw some other cool stuff in there for you.

If you are wondering how the money will break down and how much of it will go to the children it breaks down like this. PayPal will of course charge a transaction fee. This is normal and unavoidable. Child's Play manages to keep a very low overhead (2-3%). Image And Nation will not be keeping ANY money. We have no managers, no label, no one taking a slice of the pie. The personnel who worked with us on this album generously donated their talents. So there will be NO profits on our end. Every last penny we get will be donated to Child's Play.

11:03 pm - Ephemeral mists

newagegirlie

Ephemeral Mists is a new musical project by composer Brett Branning (also the composer for The synthetic dream foundation & Abandoned Toys). "Moon Ritual" is the debut cd, out now on Mythical records.

The sound of the project is best described as downtempo ambient new age music mixed with ethnic world musics in the vein of "Karma" era Delerium, Amethystium, and Dead Can Dance. Its really a an incredibly beautiful creation and I sincerely recommend it to anyone into newage music styles. I'm looking forward to further releases by this project.

Pandora

is *only* available in the U.S.
and only lets you listen for an hour unless you click on things a *lot*.
(in the free version).

I'm still waiting for what CBS/Launchcast/play.it come up with before I put my money downon another paid service while listening to my Bernward Koch Radio station(FOR FREE) on last.fm.

I consider New Age/Ambient music electronic valium and last.fm provides as good a dose as my new age Mood on my byanymeasure LAUNCHcast Plus station did.

Just listen on modest harman/kardon computer speakers . . .

Have discovered *lots* of new music since I've been listening to last.fm as byanymeasure and bearybipolar.

Love the downloadable last.fm player!

Still think that a commericial-free version of play.it would be ideal!

Abandoned Toys makes some of the most beautiful new age music that I have come across lately. If you like the genre, you should really look into their album, "The witch's garden".
